Why Brantford?

A dive into local history.

With Wilfrid Laurier University being introduced to Brantford's downtown core in 1999 WLU has been dedicated to community interaction and engagement. With Brantford having a very rich peoples history, from the creation of the telephone by Alexander Graham-Bell to hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, the curators of the exhibit wanted to display the lesser known individuals that helped create modern day Brantford through business, war, and culture.
